Paris was also on my bucket list of places I want to visit. Paris on the whole is a breath-taking city. It holds so much beauty. In fact, the entire make-up of the city is a sight to behold. Truly, there is so much to see, so much to do, and so much to experience. For instant, the city’s architecture, its historic monuments, fashion, shopping venues and above all French cuisine.
In summary, my visit to Paris was short, I went on a girl’s trip with two of my girls. Together, we wanted to go on an adventure to make new memories, and we truly did. Travelling to Paris was indeed the adventure we needed. Planning this trip was easy, because we were all on the same page on the most important things specifically about what we wanted to see, do and experience. Additionally, one of us, in our group of three had already been to this magical city, however, together we still had a lot of first-hand experiences.
Furthermore, Paris is known for being a major European city and a global landmark for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture.
Moreover, it has a nineteen-century cityscape that is crisscrossed by wide boulevard and the river Sein. Beyond these landmarks is the Eiffel Tower. We first saw this historic landmark during the day, then at night, to experience the iconic “lighting up of the tower”.
To sum up our short trip, we visited Bercy Village, a beautiful small tourist village in the heart of Paris. Later we went on a boat cruise, were we of course saw other iconic landmarks like the Gothic Notre Dame, which at the time was burnt due that devastating fire. Adjacent on the boat cruise was the Louvre, which is also known as the Louvre museum, the world’s largest art museum. In addition, we visited Galeries Lafeyette to shop in Paris. Also, we cycled along the streets of Paris, which was truly exciting.
Then, the ladies concluded our Paris adventure by having snails.
