It’s officially that time of the year! the countdown for Christmas is on and New Year’s Day is also fast approaching. Unfortunately, I understand that things are a lot different this year. However! it doesn’t mean that the party is cancelled, besides, technology is on our side. With that said, I have curated four looks to help inspire your festive looks.
The looks
Look 1
First, I have aRonny Kobo mayaletta statement shoulder blazer dress with decorative buttons. I like how understated this dress is, its dressy but not too dressy. You can dress it up with a pair of heels or keep it low-key with a pair of boots or flats. This is your look, if you want a chic, sleek formal look.
Look 2
The second look is a ASOS design luxe two-tone structured suit with a waterfall sash and a split front flare trousers. A suit is definitely one of those pieces that is suitable for any occasion, you can do no wrong in a good tailored suit. The metallic fabric of the suit makes it a stand out piece.
Look 3
Third, A metallic shirred mini dress in silver rose from &Other Stories. Likewise, this also is a stand out piece. I particularly like the fitted smocked bodice on this dress. I also like the ruffled mermaid silhouette and gathered multi-puff sleeves. This is definitely the type of dress that requires minimal effort to stand out in any crowd. You can dress it up with heels or go for a casual look with a pair of trainers or flats.
Look 4
Look four is my wild card piece in this collection. This outfit deserves a grand entrance. It’s a smooth, stretchy metallic fabric kimono sleeve maxi dress in lime gold from Forever Unique. The dress has a pleated design, and a plunge neckline. Also, it comes with a gold belt to cinch you in. I like the reflective glimmer this dress gives whenever you move, it’s absolutely stunning.
Look 5
Finally, I have a velvet midi dress from Zara. As you know velvet is an anthem festive fabric. The embellishment on the fabric and the slight open back detail on the dress adds to the overall appeal of this dress. This is your look if you want a classic, soft, feminine look.
To conclude this edit, the Pièce de résistance. A Rhinestone strass design hairband from Mango. I think this piece is gorgeous.
